Jon is a second-generation operator in the family business. Howard B. Overmyer, Jon’s father, started Overmyer Auction Service in 1947. After his death in 1980, Jon becomes the CEO. Jon started as a set-up staff member and a cashier/clerk before attending the Reppert School of Auctioneering in 1972. Jon has worked with several real estate companies. He was instrumental in organizing the Danberry & Welles Bowen Auction Division, before moving to KEY REALTY. He is licensed in Ohio. Jon believes the strength of the OAS is in the quality of people in the company.
Kevin joined the Overmyer Auction Service in 1978 as a clerk/cashier. In 1981 he attended Reppert School of Auctioneering. He is a lead auctioneer and one of the leading auctioneers
A third-generation auctioneer, Jason attended the Reppert School of Auctioneering in 1993. We are very proud of Jason’s improvements. He is becoming one of the most skilled auctioneers in the area. Jason has learned the business from the bottom up and has the leadership to make sure our clients receive the best service.
Tina joined the company after managing the Lucas County Fair. Tina attended the Reppert School of Auctioneering and is currently licensed in both Ohio & Michigan as an auctioneer & realtor. We are very proud of Tina’s improvements. She is becoming a very skilled auctioneer and realtor. Tina has learned the business from the bottom up, and has the leadership to make sure our clients receive the best service.
A third-generation auctioneer, and with the birth of Trenton Joshua, we are looking forward to the future generation of Overmyer’s in the business. We are very proud of Josh’s improvements. Gail A. Overmyer: Office Manager
Gail has been in charge of the operation of the office and clerking staff. With her direction, we are very proud of the quality of these people.
Jared has learned his job from the bottom up. Besides supervising the set-up staff, Jared is one of the best ringmen. With professional talent as an electrician, he has solved many on-site problems.
